8 Linking Rings

The Chinese Linking Rings is one of magic's classic effects. One of the best! A standard set of Linking Rings consists of 8 rings, but many routines only use 6 of them. All the routines cover the basic plot: a number of rings are shown solid and separate, then they are linked to each other, then unlinked and fantastic penetrations, chains and figiures are displayed and at the end the rings are all shown separate again. Many routines involve a spectator on stage verifying that the links are solid and separate, really linked etc. This is our selection:

5 Linking Rings

This is a set of 5 Linking Rings. Like the standard routine, this routine also coverc the basic plot: a number of rings are shown solid and separate, then they are linked to each other, then unlinked and fantastic penetrations, chains and figiures are displayed and at the end the rings are all shown separate again. Unlike the standard set, two of the rings in this set are over sized, allowing the other rings to pass through them. This makes it so much easier to convincingly count the rings showing them solid and separate and so much easier to hand every ring out for inspection in avery direct way using a switch enabled by the over sized rings. There are also other advanges, such as penetrations and very dierct unlinks in the hands of a spectator. The set consists of 5 stainless steel rings and Tonny van Rhee's Routine on film on a CD (Acrobat Reader 6.0 and AVI Codex required, but they are available free on the internet.). We have also produced an instructional dvd covering both Tonny van Rhee's routine for this set of 5 rings and a version af Dai Vernon's routine for 6 rings from the standard set. In this dvd the routines are first shown and then thoroughly explained, step by step. This is our selection:

Himber Ring

This is a special finger ring that resembles a wedding band, and enables you to perform one of the most unbelievable illusions in magic. The basic effect is that three borrowed finger rings magically link, then un-link, and are then returned unharmed to their original owners. Although this uses small props, it is not restricted to close up use, and many famous magicians have made a feature of this effect in large stage shows. We supply a special ring that resembles a wedding band, skillfully crafted, plated in real gold, with full instructions, that makes this miracle possible.
